My Photography Journey
My journey with photography began years ago after reading A Choice of Weapons by Gordon Parks. That book opened my eyes to photography’s power to tell real stories—and I was hooked. I started with film, photographing for my college newspaper. Later, I worked as a cameraman for a local ABC affiliate and eventually freelanced for major television stations and publications on the West Coast.
In addition to my photography work, I spent over a decade in the corporate world—serving in national sales, marketing, and management consulting roles. That experience helped me understand people, communication, and storytelling in a deeper way. As a result, it shaped how I approach photography today—with purpose, clarity, and intention.
Why I Love Portrait Photography
Returning to photography felt like coming home. While the technical side is rewarding, I’m especially drawn to the connection—the moment when someone sees a photo of themselves and feels proud, confident, and truly seen.

How I Work
I serve clients throughout Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Conway, Florence, Georgetown, Charleston, and Wilmington, NC. Most sessions take place on location—your home, your office, or a space that feels personal to you. I bring the full studio setup: professional lighting, backdrops, and everything we need to make great portraits.
Prefer a traditional studio setting? That’s absolutely an option as well. During your consultation, we’ll talk through what works best for your goals, comfort, and style.
