My Photography Journey
My journey with photography started years ago after reading A Choice of Weapons by Gordon Parks. That book opened my eyes to photography’s power to tell real stories—and I was hooked. I started with film, working for my college newspaper, and later became a cameraman for a local ABC affiliate. I eventually freelanced for major television stations and publications on the West Coast.
Life took me into the corporate world, where I held national roles in sales and marketing, and later into management consulting. For 12 years, I helped small and medium-sized businesses grow and succeed. But through it all, I never lost my love for photography—or for working with people.
Why I Love Portrait Photography
Returning to photography felt like coming home. What draws me in isn’t just the technical side—it’s the joy of helping someone feel confident, seen, and proud of how they look. I love capturing real expressions, true connection, and moments that deserve to be preserved for generations.

Most of my sessions take place on location—your home, your office, or a place that matters to you. I bring the full studio experience with me: lighting, backdrops, and everything we need.
